From sitting in a hot car the glue has on several occasions started to melt and stick to my Navigation unit. It is difficult use the case with my Garmin 855 because the fit is too snug.

This is a great carrying case that you don't have to mess with zippers. Unit fits nice and snug and is easy for my wife to carry in her purse. Carry it with you and avoid having it stollen like the last one.

The basic case, as suggested by Amazon, is not a good choice for th Garmin 855 GPS.
The case is too tight and frequently will turn itself on while struggoing with the fit.
If left in the case for a few days, it is almost impossible to remove.

Every AmazonBasics product I have gotten has been excellent quality, and this is another example of a quality basic product.
The faux-leather exterior seems reasonably durable, pliable, and low odor. The interior is soft and scratch free and may help remove fingerprints as the device is put in and taken out.
I don't see much use for the "pocket", it is too small and tight to get much in there.
Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging doesn't always make a great gift box but is my preference for low waste and easy opening.
