I received it and I read the instructions. The product didn't show any colors so I couldn't diagnosed the operation of the item.

A replacement that works

Left my power cord in a rental car and the features of the traffic and signage are imoportant especiallly when driving in the NY metro area. While the ord was a little expensive, Amazon's price the was the best and with Prime I had it in two days. Most imporotantly it works (and I make sure to check for this one before I leave a rental car!)

Don't get too excited about lifetime traffic, because this adapter won't last long enough for you to get your money's worth. We got the parts replacement the last time it broke, but it has fallen apart again, and it looks like I'll have to either buy a new one, or buy a new GPS. I like my Garmin, but if the adapter doesn't stay together, it won't do me much good!
